Why the Alpha bed.
One of the most popular fold out bed models on the market today is the Alpha bed. Simple and easy to use, this bed is available in all popular sizes. The space saving Alpha Bed is available in two orientations, vertical and horizontal to suit most applications in all situations where a bed is required.
They are easy to use and beautifully designed. The fold out beds have fully integrated doors which become the base of the bed when in the open position. The fold out bed uses a spring based lift mechanism with manually operated legs at the foot of the bed that support the base & mattress when in use.
The Alpha Bed is not a free standing unit and it must be fixed to a structural wall.

THE FRAME: #SBF STEEL BED FRAME
The Alpha Bed™ system is a lightweight, universal, structural steel bed frame with double overlap steel stiffeners. The design is completed with our fold-away leg system and is designed to exceed the strength of wood or aluminium as well as residential and commercial specifications.
The Alpha Bed™ frames are available in Single, Double, Queen or King size.
THE MECHANISM: #SBLM SPRING BALANCE LIFT MECHANISM
All sizes of the Alpha Bed™ system include our heavy duty, universal, easy-operation lift mechanisms. Designed for everyday use, this mechanism allows for varying spring combinations in order to balance all bed sizes and creates easy fingertip operation.
The Alpha Bed is available as a flat pack and can be shipped directly to your home address for DIY installation. If you are unable to, or do not want to install the cabinetry yourself, we can provide an installation service for you.
The Alpha Beds are available in a selection of melamine colours and textures to suit your decor.
The vertical Alpha Bed is available in Single, Double, Queen or King sizes with the horizontal wallbed available in Single, Double & Queen sizes.
Mattresses are available as a discounted package from our partners at Sealy, to ensure you or your guests get a great nights sleep.
